There is a diecast series sold by subscription in Poland under the Amercom label ( just Google Amercom.com and you should see its website listing with various Polish names, pictures, etc.). The same models in 1:100th or 1:72nd scale are now being offered in the UK, which is what is referred to in the prior post. They are also starting to populate eBay individually. I have two of the models--a 1:100th scale Mirage and a 1:72nd scale Sopwith Strutter--- and they vary in quality. The Mirage isn't bad---except for its smaller scale--- but the Strutter is a fairly basic model, several cuts below the Corgi standard, in my opinion. I've heard that the quality of this series ranges from OK to not so hot, depending on the plane in question----which is par for such mass produced items. There is also a new Altaya jet fighter line in 1:72nd that is being offered in a similar fashion----by subscription coupled with a booklet about each plane---- which is described on the Altaya.fr website. Like the Amercom series, this has many of "the usual subjects" ( F-4, Mig-29, F-15, etc. ) but also includes an Etendard, SU-35 and Gripen, which I'm interested in. I have the Mirage 3000 from Altaya, which isn't half bad. Here are some pictures. First, the Amercom Strutter:
