I appreciate your input and look forward to having more suggestions from the membership and especially those who knew GR well. I still have a heavy heart when I find something he would have had an interest in - and he had a lot of interesting things!

I agree with Dennis in keeping the name as it is--to avoid confusion--and add the Founded by GR Webster, etc.
Glad to see the forum up and running again too.
Regards to all, Jose.

HI MICHAEL BLUDWORTH AND ALL THE MEMBERS OF MINIATURE AIRCRAFT COLLECTORS,

Thanks so much for getting the MAC FORUM back on line. Although I never met GR WEBSTER, he was a real friend
through MAC FORUM. He always had a nice word to say about everybody and every topic related to aviation.

I had been away from the FORUM for several months and was saddened to learn about GR's demise. Of course,
we will all sincerely miss him.

His efforts for his country in the MILITARY are truly appreciated, as are those of others.

REGARDS, RICHARD STARR

Hello Michael,
Well glad you fixed the problem with the site, it was quite a shock to find it was crashed, so many thanks.
Of course I will continue to answer questions on Dinky toy aircraft. The site is still the only source of information for collectors of miniature aircraft all over the world. So lets keep this running.
Question: is Christian Braun still interested or will the site continued as before.

John Beugels.

I don't have any information on Christian Braun or the status of that arrangement. I used to get emails from "them" about moderating the site, but not for some time now. I'm still in shock from the sudden loss of GR... But - yes - MAC is here to stay. We need a regular supply of funds to pay for the site but more importantly we need INPUT...not just lurking and commenting, but actual input in the form of annotated posts on subjects.
For all of you there must be a collection aspect to your "collection"...what is it? ...and why?
Thanks to all!
Michael
PS: And thank you for that, but I had little to do with bringing MAC back - as a matter of fact I was negligent about retaining the links to our IT. So...thanks to Dennis Ramsey for his detective work!

glad Mac is back as well. but of course sad to read about GR's demise. although we never met, we corresponded on many occasions. I shall miss him.

even though I've been too busy of late to do any restorations, when once more time permits, you lot will be the first to know,

Re: Renaming our Forum. I prefer Michael's suggestion: "The MAC Forum, Founded by GR Webster". Sweet and simple, GR made it that way, so lets not complicate it.

Glad the annual get together will continue Michael, thanks.

Hello everyone! ...I just wanted to say that going through the messages here that I often stumble across ones that GR had posted - some quite recently.
I still can't believe he left us! :(
On the other hand his advice and information continues to be available and of great value!
I look forward to continuing to hear his comments in my head as I wander around the site!
Thanks GR!
Michael
