I can assure you completely that Canadian Pacific Airlines never used blue cheatlines.
Interesting note: For some strange reason, there has been an interest in CPA within the 1:200 diecast aviation world, and both examples (a DC-6 by Hobby Master and a Britannia by Aviation200) have been incorrectly depicted the red cheatlines with
white between them. It is interesting to note that the Dinky 998 with the red cheatlines is as close to accurate as one will get with the bare metal showing between the red. Odd how no progress has been made since the Dinky Toy version, eh?
Yes, I have a 40+ year interest (arm chair historian) with Canadian Pacific Airlines during the years (primarily) between 1950-1965.
Speaking of blue cheatlines, I think I need to add this version to my list to buy as a complement my red version. Dinky did make the Britannia look quite majestic!
