Just in case you have not had enough updates... here's this week's report. It is a sunny day here in the Midwest so I took my latest of the "painted ladies" out for a little sun and some vitamin D. It should be obvious that the "Indiana Boneyard" is getting smaller and there are fewer big Marx airplanes to work (and walk) around.
This latest is a Mk1 Marx DC4 that was in nice, restorable condition and finished in mid 50's AA livery. This one sports the then new "American Airlines" decal along the cabin and small Douglas (Around the World" logos on the fin. In the backround is the Mk4 (cabin door and "powered props") in Pan Am markings. In the middle is the Marx Sabre still waiting for its Stars and Bars to arrive by mail. Have a nice weekend all.
