I was hoping it would go un-noticed- Wrong. Great purchase.

Here's my inaugural post!

I'd heard that Curtiss also made a P-40B or P-40C desktop model. I don't know if it was plastic or metal, but if any of you have it, I'd love to see a picture of it!

The P-40B/C model was my favorite aircraft as a child, and its rarity vis-a-vis the much-more-popular P-40E makes it all the more special to me.

That looks a lot like a Curtiss P-40B model! GR, is that one of yours? Anyone know the background on this model?
