Here are the models assembled - obviously no great shakes as such and clearly the set is better unbuilt but I kinda wanted the space and 707 models and it seemed pointless not to put the others together. The cars came out best it seems. Has anyone noticed that you don't seem to see the old timey 'Chitty-chitty Bang-bang' type cars in popular culture anymore? For a time you'd see them converted to hot rods or somebody's old jalopy. I guess once the baby boomers grew up the cars of their era took over.

Closeup on the planes. The Concorde got squished during final assembly and was unsalvagable. The landing gear on the 727 went to prop up the back of the 747 - unbalanced model. The 707 was the only one that went together as was.
