Small Japan plane with four propellers

Postby Tone » Wed Apr 14, 2010 11:12 pm

I have a small plane made in Japan with four propellers. It is so generic in appearance that I do not know what type it represents - any ideas?

The embossed red creases representing the control surfaces remind me of those on the 1930s Tomiyama "Baby Douglas" DC-1. The little gun turret on top is like that fitted to several small toy planes in the 30s through 50s. The wind-up key is permanently attached to the toy, so one will never lose it. The prop shafts are free-wheeling.
