Very Little Tin B-29

Is it or isn't it? The toy is quite stylized, but some of the features are actually present.

This one has British markings.

It was not unusual for small 50s Japanese tin planes to have propellers cut out of the same piece of tin as the wings, and fixed in position.

... And amazingly, here is a jet fighter made from the same tooling.

Those look more like B-17s to me. That center "console" is unlike a B-29, and much like the "roof" of the B-17, starting with the cockpit window and then going back to the radio operators clear piece. Also, the fin looks more B-17 than -29.

Here is the twin-engine along the same lines. None has a manufacturer's trade mark. I bought the British flag plane from "Toy Drummer" Tom Sarvay. He told me it was "Occupied Japan." The plane just says "Japan." Another experienced toy seller added that the toys were sold bulk. Only the cardboard box needed to say "Occupied Japan" and not the individual items.
