Battery Question

Postby Tone » Sun Aug 28, 2016 1:11 am

I have a question about batteries. The answer might be simple. When I insert them, correctly, in a battery-operated toy plane or in the remote control hand set, they will get hot, and the toy will not run. It seems as though they are wasting all the power they are generating while the toys are seized up and do not want to budge.

Do the toys' mechanisms actually need repair (short circuit) or are the batteries faulty?

I assume indeed a short circuit, and pretty direct. Otherwise the batteries would not get hot.
Could be a cable or the motor drive is fixed.

A first chance prior to opening is to try to move the motor by hand and to get it free (if the motor is the problem).

Otherwise opening...

Good Luck!

Cheers
