Sears-Made Printed Litho Jet

Postby thankumuch » Fri Aug 05, 2016 1:53 pm

I have what I think is a Tomiyama aircraft set. It was made in Japan for Sears in the early 1960's. The set includes a USAF jet that drops two bombs on a tank that explodes when hit. In this picture it is missing the red plastic nose piece, but can anyone positively identify the maker and provide any additional info for me? Much appreciated!

You have stated much of the information accurately. It is from the 1967 catalog specifically, it originally appeared in 1960 as a Super Sonic Jetliner, and it was also made in Spain in red or black, named the "Saeta" (arrow).

Thanks, I discovered more about it on this forum after I wrote this. I found someone that makes the missing nose piece (redvenomrepros) and hopefully complete the jet. I wish I could find the missing (exploding tank) that came in the set.
