I do have the Yonezawa Boeing 2707. I bought it back in the 80s from a dealer in the then West Berlin.
As you say its colourscheme is the red white and blue colourscheme which seems to be an invention of
the toymaker as I have never seen it elsewhere.
Yonezawa had also made the earlier Boeing 733 SST in the same colour scheme. It is illustrated in a British
book on Tin Toys published in the 80s. I have also seen the same plane in Lufthansa colours offered on Ebay.
Unlike the Daiya 2707, the Yonezawas do not seem to have been available in Pan Am.
In contrast the Daiya 2707 has been seen on Ebay in Pan Am, TWA, American and Lufthansa (early and late 60s colours).
Another dealer also sold a Japan Airlines version. The smaller friction powered Daiya 2707 has been seen in BOAC(which I posted) Alitalia and Pan Am. There may also be an Air Canada version.
The later delta winged Boeing 2707-300 was made in Pan Am colours by two different manufacturers (They were auctioned
some years ago). One manufacturer (Daiya again?) also did it in Lufthansa late and TWA colours (again I have seen on Ebay going for silly money)
It would be interesting to know if anyone in Japan knows the history of the firm's production? There must be documentation somewhere..
All the best
