The first edition of a new and essential reference book for airplane toy collectors, especially vintage toy collectors and Dinky Toy collectors is now available covering every aircraft toy produced between 1934-1979 with well over 500 photographs.

Written by ‘GR’ Webster with contributors John Beugels and Sir George Cox. The introduction is by Mike Richardson,
The Book is dedicated to Sue Richardson.
‘GR’ Webster set out to continue to build on and share new information on these aircraft toys in the fine tradition of Mike and Sue Richardson, and the other pioneers such as Leslie Jackson, John Marshall, Alan Dimmock, John Beugels, Derek Barratt, Patrick Trench, Jean-Michel Roulet, and Jacques Dujardin.
The book covers all the Dinky Toys aircraft produced in Great Britain and France starting in 1934, continuing during the prewar period, reissued during the early postwar period until 1948, the 1950s releases, and finally through launch of the ‘Big Planes’ range in the 1960s until the demise of the firm in 1979.
Each aircraft is described in a monograph consolidating all the details of the aircraft toy in one section with photographs of the toy, a full description, reference number, scale, production dates, casting details, many of the variations produced, other named toys using the same principal casting, along with a brief review of the actual aircraft selected by the Dinky designers.
