Hi fellows,
I was looking for something else and found a modelshop in Denmark who is selling decals/transfers for Tekno models. Interesting I presume for the restorers of this range.
They have two decal sets for the Caravelle; Swissair and SAS.

I have some early camouflage Tekno aircraft but am reluctant to freshen them up with new decals.

GR,
I, too, would be reluctant to replace. I know that when I look to buy, I would prefer "all original". I get suspicious of what else may have been done when I can spot an alteration (repaint, new decal, etc.). I prefer a slightly damaged original decal over what I know is a new one. If the model is starting to show age, then adding a new part sticks out and just does not look right. If you had an original decal that had come loose, then I could see adding it to a like model, as long as it did not look out of place. That way you, at least, you maintain the "all original period" condition.
I have seen several models completely redone (new paint scheme or more realistic hardware, etc) and I appreciate the effort made by the modeler to do that to an old toy. But, to me, you have lost the original "toy" even though you may have created something unique and desirable. I just hate to see some of the really rare old models "destroyed/enhanced" that way.
