I have the Corgi F-4 version in silver.

I'm not sure it makes sense to cannabilize unless you are planning to do a complete repaint/remodel.

I have a couple of the camo version that I would sell you. PM me if you are interested.

FETT1, Glad you found us and welcome.
That TDA DC-9 is very nice- must be rare on this side of the Pacific. I certainly have never seen one in those markings before. A quick check turned up the following:
Japan TDA
This airline was founded as Toa Domestic Airlines in May 1971 through the merger of the original Toa Airways of 1953
and Japan Domestic Airlines. The latter was the result of a merger between three smaller airlines in 1964 - North Japan Airlines,
Nitto Air Lines and Fuji Airlines. Toa Domestic changed its name to Japan Air System in April 1988.
Lintoys

I wonder what other airlines in the far east Lintoy used for its toys?
We all love those Lintoys, too.

Welcome indeed!
And you come bearing Christmas treats!
I hadn't heard of the TDA version before - a nice find!
Where DID you find it anyway? This continent or another? It could only have been part of their Japanese issues.

My last purchase of a Lintoy derived DC-9 was in the late '90s when they appeared under the Tak-A-Toy label in the drug stores. These carried Swissair stickers and still looked good.

Lintoy Toa Domestic DC-9

Postby Tone » Mon Dec 27, 2010 9:44 pm

I did not know Lintoy issued a Toa Domestic DC-9, it looks excellent! The airline isn't well-represented among toy planes but I do have a 1:200 Hogan YS-11 in Japan Domestic colors though the cheat line is blue.
