I have two Swiss DC-10s but no 727.

The toy model shown below is not a Lintoy but it is a Schuco. The box has some pen markings that state that it dates from 1976, however, Pan American did not fly the DC-10 back then.

Box is same type as Lintoy complete with similar decoration.

Indeed, the boxes seem identical. However, looking at these two pictures, I see a number of differences between the two casts....it is hard to tell. The Lintoy obviously has "stickers" while the Schuco has decals. It would be interesting to see them together...I'm not sure I have a Schuco DC-10, but I do have a Schabak.
It wouldn't surprise me to see Lintoy making molds for Schuco and then utilizing it themselves. The the two little pieces are the only examples from them, and the little DC-10 only superficially resembles their larger issue.
There could have been a swap at the time.
Interesting comparison.
