Well, the relevant kit for that one is easy: A Monogram 1/48 Corsair with the same marks released in the late '60s and replete with working features. It was an awesome model for it's time and made huge waves in the plastic airplane kit market.
It's been re-released several times since then, although it no longer has the quality of later models of Corsairs. By today's standards it is a "toy".
You can also see it's influence in the DF Corsair with it's rows of underwing rockets, center line tank, and dual aerials.
I know y'all like to give me a hard time about this plastic kit stuff, but it's cross-over situations like this that make me glad I'm a modeler and a collector of same!
