MICHAEL,

Thanks so much for your BEAUTIFUL pictures of the MESSERSCHMITT 410 and the MESSERSCHMITT 110D.

I can only think of the following MILITARY aircraft that were made by BOTH LINTOY and PLAYART:

MESSERSCHMITT 410, MIG 21, ZERO, NORTH AMERICAN P51D, BRITISH SPITFIRE, LOCKHEED F104G.

This is strictly from memory. I have some of the smaller PLAYART, though it would take a lot time

to find the exact storage boxes. The GIFT SETS are amazing.

Richard

Indeed, they had a number of similar subjects, but the 410 is unique to these two lines. I don't think any else had a Henschel HS 123!
I need to get that box out and take photographs. My other military set has the AW Seahawk.
Again...what a mystery to see this fine line disappear so completely!

The recent Sky-busters biplane is similar in some respects to a Henschel 123, but it is not a scale model of anything.

The Sky Busters "toy" airplanes of recent years don't count for much except to guess what real airplane it's patterned on. I stopped keeping count some time ago. Now they are the only toy airplanes - except for Disney - in WalMart.
