I agree, and am sorry I never got one for my collection. Still if you have a list of what he did up, it would be interesting.
Did he do the Air Canada 747 or was it an Aeromini issue?

My only source of which models UHF Supplies (as Brian's shop was called) produced is their 1970s
ad in various plane mags.

The Models I have ided so far are

Air Canada

BOAC

BOAC with British Airways titles

TAP

However, in the 80s a new range was made called Airminis. These had fixed undercarts and soft
castings in 1-250 scale like Aerominis. They made a lot of planes including a BA Cargo which I have.

Have spoken to Geoff Noble.

The only pure Tomkins models were Qantas, TAP and BOAC, BA/Boac. These were made using
stripped down Aerominis and transfers.
That means the Air Canada came from either Aeromini or another source.

Thanks for the information, Ralph. It was interesting to see that Vic Tremble's collection which was sold at auction in the UK a few weeks ago had some examples of Tompkins converted Aero Minis. They all sold much higher than the original Aero Minis. The sale also had some of John Alcott's Dinky Toys conversions, mainly the Nimrods from the Dinky Comet and they also sold well.

My TPN Green Sheet shows the Air Canada 747 as an original release.
Also, it has the same sort of decals as other Aero Minis in my collection.
Since they did a DC-9 and DC-8 in Air Canada, a 747 is logical.
Here are some pics of mine.
