I've been told that these were issued to australian officials in the late fifties.. something to do with the A-Bomb tests. Very very rare apparently.

Again - lovely!
What is it made of?
The Victor is one of my favorite aircraft. This one looks like a model of the prototype.
thanks for posting
Michael

Indeed! ...I'll remember to read the subject title! :P
There are a number of castings that are done in "pot metal", like Mazac and similar. Do you consider those to be "aluminum" or not?

Hi again Michael.. my "assumption" was that it is aluminium, it's heavy and solid, but not enough to be brass or other metals, although it is of the Mazak era so quite possibly that, although I believe Mazak degenerates with age and this model is perfect .. :)
