That makes sense now, I did not remember the I-16. I was born in Spain during WW2 and recall that those were shot down once the Franco air force got some ME109 with Hispano engines...

Next chritsmas, I will publish a new book about vintage aircraft from spanish brands... Tin, plastic, diecast... etc..

I think I bought this one from Larry M. along with two others, one of which was the Rata. I only have five Play-Me planes (Me-109, Sabre, 747, Rata, Thunderchief).
