Hello MACers!!

I'm looking for a little help identifying this Sikorsky S-58...

Is it a promotional model? Any idea of the manufacturer?

The model is 11.25" long and 3.25" tall. It is primarily made of plastic and has a unknown light-weight metal device attached below the main rotor.

I haven't been able to find any manufacturer marks.

Any ideas?

Mark

I think you guys are spot-on - thanks for the great help!

I'm not familiar with this manufacturer, so I'll research it further. The website above mentions that only 300 of thes S-58 models were made - that's pretty exciting news.

Thank again!

Mark

Here are some photos of an Army Topping H-34 to compare.

Here is an unknown (to me) S58 model by the French toy manufacturer Jouets Minilux I just purchased. I hadn't heard of Minilux toys before...

Minluxe {France} made plastic copies of toys late 1950s- early 1960s, most notable among them and of interest to us is the one you have shown which is a copy of the French Dinky Toys metal one, and also a DC-6 that was copied from another makers {CIJ} metal toy. They are not common and I haven't seen the S-58 in 20 years.
