Here's the bigger version of the Kaman H-43 by ATC (Asahi Toy Company):

I picked up a new intermeshing rotor helicopter made by T.N. (Nomura Toys).

This "Sight-Seeing" helicopter has the same body style as another T.N. series of toys, but the body has been modified to accommodate the twin rotors.

I think the run on this one was pretty limited. This is the only boxed version I've ever encountered, and you might note that the factory, or perhaps the distributor, added the toy number to the box lid by hand.

Here's a photo:

S58 with Intermeshing Rotors

That looks like the S58 "Air Port Airway" helicopter, "Rosko" # 36100. That should measure 11" long. It has moving parts in the engine. I like the twin rotors on the one you photographed. Might the number handwritten on the box lid be an auction lot? (My Air Port Airway helicopter has some hand writing on the box lid too - some kid wrote it!)

It suppose it could be an auction number, although that seems like a pretty large lot or catalog number. Who knows, though?!

As you're no doubt aware, Rosko was a known U.S. importer of Japanese toys. Rosko joined with Nomura to bring in a few different helicopter toys. They also paired up with Suzuki & Edwards (S&E) on a couple other toys in my collection.
