Interesting, about Huki and HK. I am not the only one to confuse them, fortunately - many HK's have been offered as Huki's.

Here is my B&S collection, which - I think - is rather complete. Hovermd may do the same for a number of Japanese brands, maybe?

Blomer & Schüler was a German toymaker active from 1919 to 1974. Initially they only produced wind-up mechanisms for other toymakers. From the 1930’s they produced a series of beautifully lithographed tin toys, mainly animals and caroussels. Their walking elephant later was used in their logo. From 1950 they started making tin cars. Production stopped in 1974 – some b&S toys are still made today by Blechmanufaktur Josef Wagner, like the early small colorful dragon fly models.
Basically they produced 4 models: a small tadpole ( 6 cm), a bigger tadpole (12 cm) in 3 different models, helios, libelle and air taxi; an S55-like model (army, navy, BEA) and double rotor Piasecki H-16 look-alikes (army, BEA) in two sizes: 20 cm and 30 cm fuselages.
The first below may well be one of the first B&S made – the same shape, pressed steel, without any name or logo.

I think the bigger 567 and 568 also came with lights, but I have never seen one.

These are all the B&S toys I'm aware of... if anyone has knowledge of others, I'd love to hear about them.

The #567 and #568 helicopters WERE made in battery operated versions. I've seen them a few times, but have never been able to purchase one...

Those Blomer & Schüler toys never seem to come up for sale. This company made a flying car in red that had wings that come out of the sides of the body like knife blades - very "James Bond."

The Vertical Liner has no maker's mark but it was probably TOMIYAMA.

The vertical liner was definitely made by Tomiyama for Sears.

Tomiyama also partnered with Franconia, a distributor, to release the very popular Astro Copter helicopter toy.

...all new to me, and totally engaging...
I note that the 567 and 568 have box art identical to the Revell plastic model kit of the H-16, all of which had to come from around 1960.

As for Frankonia I have seen this name associated with little die cast airliners, DC-7, DC-8, 707 and Caravelle, in the late 60s - I used to get them at Grant's store back when they were new!.
