I have been thinking about these for some time now. Back in the late 80s a Plane News west coast editor reported seeing a Sanchis helicopter, a 16" long SA 365 Dauphine with tin rotor, at a toy show, and wanted to know more about them. I need to know more about them too, because I wish to add them to my Production List.
I have (3) SA 365s in my collection that are different from those already posted. One is friction and 2 are battery operated. All the SA 365 toys are right at 16 inches long, but I've never seen a metal rotor on any Sanchis toy. All Sanchis toys that I've seen to date have been 100% plastic. Who knows, though... Sanchis realeased a LOT of different helicopter toys, so maybe there's a variant out there with metal parts?
