Informal get-together at GR's Alligator Lodge followed by dinner at a local diner.
Come by anytime. Its a lakeside log cabin behind a long 3 rail white fence, two entrances, mail box on opposite side of road says Alligator Lodge.

MAC MEET 2012, The only Airplane Only Toy Show in the world.

Location of show Frostproof Women's Club, 333 E. B St. This place looks like a home, just off Lake Reedy's west side, near the town's water treatment center.

830am show opens- free admission for all. No early admission.

Saturday 3pm GR's collection on display, Alligator Lodge

Saturday, Cocktails and BBQ 6pm. Get-together and Open bar, ALLIGATOR LODGE- followed by catered casual BBQ at 6 pm. Food cost split among attendees. Drinks offered by GR.

Best hotel in area is Hampton Inn, lake wales, 11 miles away
Next best is Holiday Inn Express Lake Wales N-Winter Haven

There are many smaller, local, Mom and Pop, cheapo ones around as this is central Florida, but I wouldn’t recommend them.

I will be attending the up-coming meeting in Frostproof and I will be looking to purchase model kits, especially Russian Flying Boats - the ones with the big fat radial engines i.e., the Beriev Be-4,Be-6, Chetverikov MDR-6 plus the Be-10 jet.
