My name is Alan Letner, and my Avatar is my new boy Tazz, in the process of adding to his collection. Feel free to call me AJ. BWBrown told me about this site so I thought I'd stop buy and introduce myself. I am primarily a collector of WWII recognition models although I have strayed for a handful of post-war IDs. I have had the collecting bug for about 3 years now. Along with recognition models I have added posters, manuals, and other foreign & domestic recognition related material to the mix. I have pulled in just a few modern 1/48 die-cast models to put a little color to the collection. I look forward to the information exchange that a site like this can bring about. It needs some updates to better capture the current state of the collection but that task seems to keep hovering in the same place on the to-do list, neither advancing nor falling off. I also fly R/C aircraft a bit (as if collecting weren't consuming enough of my cash!)
