Here are images of my JetStar model collection. Notice the metal model of the JetStar II? I have never seen another one like it. The large metal cammo JetStar (C-140A) is another favorite of mine. I was going to have it re-done but after reading about the history of it, I decided to leave it as is. There are other model variations that I am looking for to include an Eastern Air Lines version.

What was the story of the camouflaged one?

Nice stuff! That first one is a real historical item, as it looks like a pre-production concept model!
The USAF had at least a few in SEA camo.
The only Jetstar I have is the little red give away from Lockheed. I also have that one which is "gold" plated. Neither have the wing pods and look very much like your pre-production model!
