Thanks Michael this will make a great checklist to see exactly what I do have,by the way they were distributed by Airfix in the UK as Airfix-Bachman,they mostly appeared in model shop outlets.

I haven't gotten my Miniplanes out for some time to play with ( :D ), so I don't have any "new" pictures, but I will forward on a few ebay pic picks. I don't know the extent of the Airfix offerings. Also, the sets are more common than you might imagine, but always come at a much higher price. This line is extremely collectible, and has been for nearly 30 years now, but the fact that the pieces aren't made of metal seems to have kept the prices down.
Once upon a time I was looking at a collection a fellow was selling and he felt that the various Matchbox items were of special value, and wanted the $$ for each one. He also had a big stash of Miniplanes but didn't regard them with much respect. Result? A few Matchbox items and a whole lotta Miniplanes added to my collection! I'll need to sift through the lot again one of these days.

Barry,
re: Any chance of reproducing that article here GR ? like many I know little about this series but prepared to learn about them, many thanks.
I doubt it. My copies of all the issues of TPN and MAQ are bound together in a 2 volume, hard cover, boxed set and I can't scan them.
All my old computer files were kept on media that is no longer supported- The TPN 'Green Sheets' which were supplied on green paper as an insert with some issues had the then current listing of known models in a category, but the Bachmann list Michael has offered up here is current and complete.
Anyway, when I get back I will see if I have some old, back issues that might have the article and I'll send it to you.
Otherwise if anyone has that issue, feel free to scan it and post here.
