Plastic display box with miniature planes

Here are some views of my plastic display box with miniature planes: MPC, Hawk, Lido, Bruder Mini, Hong Kong 1970s, Micro Machines, Mattel, a Penny Racer, some unknown makers, even a die cast or two.

How frequently to do you run across the Lido plastic biplanes?

Plastic display box with miniature planes

I do not actively look for them. I only have one, a red WWII fighter with wing span of about one inch. If i remember correctly, it was in a small plastic bag with MPC planes that I bought for a small sum at a local flea market in the 1990s. It's hidden in there somewhere!

I think I may see the Lido toy you mentioned bottom left in photo 3. There's also a larger yellow biplane bottom of photo 4 that has the U.S. star roundel/insignia. This one is probably Made in Hong Kong, although it is of the size of the Lido toys I'm referring to.

The reason I bring it up: I purchased a funky Lido Dawn Patrol aircraft set featured inside a colorful cardboard display box a little while ago. I hadn't seen Lido aircraft like them before.

By the way, I like the way you've chosen to enjoy/display your toys!
