I got this ash tray model about 15 years ago only because it represented the first time I ever flew in a small plane with my father, who flew me at the age of 11 or so in a US Navy C-45 Twin Beech.

I could read the writing on the door nor can I in this photo.

G-

Was just cruisin' through the older threads and saw Beech ashtray. One of my all time favorites. These used to haul the New York Times from Cleveland every night. The pilots had to be skinny to get to the cockpit!
I found an AT-7 last summer. It was in rough shape. After cleaning the airplane I tackled the engines. To my surprise, these are actual ball bearing races with a pair of beautiful prop shafts. A little WD-40 and the move smoothly again. Any idea who may have made these?

Thanks, Tom Sanders
