Many years ago there were no models of trick that our plane to the war on submarines. A dear friend gave me two boxes of Heller in scale 1/200 rather than a scale model was a kind of toy that barely resembled a Atlantic.

Both kits Heller were very elaborate one to be exposed to ground (called model No.1) with the "laundry hanging", and the other in flight on a pedestal (called model No.2). Works on the two models went on slowly for years.
So were designed and printed the appostite decal to represent two copies of the 30th Air Wing of Italian Air Force stationed in Cagliari.
The number 1 required more complex jobs for which the number 2 was completed first.

It was necessary to create a pedestal, so I thought I portray as the basis of the island of Sardinia pedestal carved into the wood, while the rod obtained plexiglass worked and varnished in black.

After much work I gave the two models to people who have been part of the "30°Stormo". In the meantime had left the splendid model of the Revell 1/72 scale :D

Thank you.
Just for curiosity though perhaps it is off topic, this is the No.1 I was talking about. It has, landing gear and flaps down, ladder acces crew open and varius antennas. On a pedestal model No.2 I have not rebuilt everything you could break. While I enjoyed this in more detail, infact this model has been set and secured with a small window that I have built up piece by piece.
