Can anyone comment on this model? Eastern never operated this aircraft.

Hmmm ... the titles probably should read: "FLY-EASTERN'S PROP-JET - VANGUARD," no?

Maybe this plane really is not a Vanguard at all but the CL-310, a Lockheed design with a square tail fin that became the Electra ?

I have an identical model but in Cubana colors. It came out of Havana in bad condition. I am guessing from the salty enviroment. Cubana never operated the Vickers Vanguard (they operated the Vickers Viscount) I think maybe Vickers had these models made and given to possible airline customers.

The do look like Vanguards, but the fin shape isn't spot on. Could they be proposed Douglas DC-7D? The engines look correct for both the Vanguard and -7D, which used the same engines. The EAL Falcon scheme would be correct for the time period.
