Beautiful! What do you recast the gear struts with? White metal?

many thanks '73. they're actually aluminium aircraft rivets. i drill out the old leg slightly undersize and press the rivet in, with a bit of exoxy glue, then cut and shape it to fit. the wheels were robbed from a dinky sea king.

HI NORRI,

AS USUAL, THE BEST OF THE BEST. I STILL SAY THAT YOU CAN TAKE AN OLD, BATTERED DINKY TOYS AIRPLANE AND TURN IT INTO A MASTERPIECE.

YOUR WORK IS SUPERIOR. BESTY OF ALL, YOU LIKE TO SHOW OTHERS YOUR WORK, WITH THE INTERMEDIATE STEPS.
THE DINKY TOYS LOCKHEED CONSTELLATION HAS ALWAYS BEEN ON MY ALL TIME FAVORITE LIST.

I HAD LIMITED MY EFFORTS TO POLISHING WITH MAAS METAL POLISH, BUT NOW I WILL HAVE TO TRY THIS.

REGARDS, RICHARD STARR

Beautiful work! My favorite airplane and airline! I remember flying in them!
Thanks for posting such nice examples of your workmanship!
