That went for $22....the other photo on the auction site shows the props to be made as 2 separate crossed over strips . I probably couldn't have bid from England on that....I used to just ignore the 'mail to U.S. only' when I was buying on ebay 10 years ago ...mean of me , I guess but it never backfired on me

You used to be able to get most tin planes sent by USPS letter post (big letter!) and that would come through as letter mail in England and not usually get whacked by Customs but if the item was sent as a USPS parcel it went through the U.K 'Parcel Force' company who had a Customs office attached to their sorting building and charged a commission for clearing the item through Customs ...I got caught up by that when I bought my C-141
