The price was right so I thought I'd pick up one of Gemini Jets' 1/250 scale jetliners to go with my collection of AeroMinis...



Not a bad looking product. The hull wings and tail are solid metal. Engines are plastic. Detail is not as rich as an AeroMini...



Wheels seem a bit on the frail side and it can't be too confidence inspiring to note they include a baggette of replacement wheels



Compares nicely with this AeroMini 707...

Looks just as nice next to an AeroMini DC-9

I have the 1:400 in Trans Carib colors:



... as well as United.



The first DC-8 I ever flew in was this Alitalia Series 62 but this model represents one of the early standard issues.



An Eastern DC-8-21 was one of my first two Gemini Jets I bought in 2000. Here is a Delta version from a couple years later:

I absoooolutely LOVE my GEMINIJETS 250's...I'm looking for any GJ 1/250 (ESPECIALLY DC-8's) if anyone can me outt!

I normally don't buy the GEMINI JETS, but when I saw the GEMINI JETS 250TH scale DOUGLAS DC8-61,

I was very, very impressed. Especially when I received it. For those of you who can't afford the million dollars

($250) for the AERO MINI DOUGLAS DC8, these are great. Fantastic actually. I like the shiny metal very much.

So I now have three of the GEMINI JETS DOUGLAS DC8 from EBAY, that the seller had for a very low price.

Many dislike the scale...I totally agree with you ..these are a thing of beauty...Have many 1/250 Scale GEMINI's...
