Ertl Airwolf

With Universal Pictures 1984 cast on the plastic underside, this nice, small, detailed helicopter is new to me. Made in Hong Kong for or by Ertl.

The really big one was made in US and has plastic parts! I only paid fifty cents for this one, a very good buy.

I just happen to have my Air and Space ERTL pieces strewn across the floor, so, here's the Police version plus the card back. Sorry for the poor scan. I have the AirWolf issue here somewhere as well...
The Coast Guard helo is very hard to find.

This is one of the reasons I love antiques/ collectors fairs and toy fairs is that hopefully some day I might just discover this Airwolf replica as well as the Santini Air Jet Ranger. Unfortunately I did have it long ago when I was younger unfortunately the one I had kept falling apart as did the Santini Air helicopter and now I have the Mini Air Force collection I've got got me wondering if I could find them at a fair.

You have reminded me of this piece,I have one in my collection and must seek it out to photograph it,it came with a neat little Jeep in the red/white/blue stars scheme.
