Corgi Spitfire casting error?

Hi

I am new to this forum but have been collecting Spitfire models for some time. At a recent Toy Fair in Eastleigh (Home of the Spitfire) a dealer told me he had seen pictures someone had shown him of a Corgi first issue Spitfire AA49001 with the words Corgi Hurricane cast on the base of the model. I had heard this before but dismissed it as an urban myth, but he was able to verify he had seen the pictures. Does anyone know of others that may have been found? I am guessing it was an early tooling mistake in the factory and some of the early castings were later mixed up in the production run?
If the pictures guy is reading this forum, maybe he can post up the images of this mistake?
