A Matchbox P-38 redo

I don't want to give the impression that all of my redos of diecast warbirds are of German or Japanese replicas. So, with that in mind here's a recent conversion of a Matchbox P-38-----a spare, of course-----that I completed. The only surgery involved the removal of the "Christmas tree" rocket assemblages under the wings. Here's a picture of the model in its original form:
