Showing the flag,our public image

Postby angelreader » Sun Oct 11, 2009 11:56 pm

A public presentation that I did this Friday, diecast models representing different period of aviation history were portrayed,I managed to condense 70 years of aviation history from Bleriot to Concorde into one and a half hours ! further talks have been booked for the spring of 2010,judging by the feedback everyone enjoyed themselves in the lovely atmosphere of the Coventry Aeroplane club headquarters.

I built all of those models on the table from wood in readiness for this particular talk, after all where could you get such things as a Sipa Minijet and a AW.52 Flying Wing, you would have loved the talk GR,everyone was glued to the screen,I use no notes or plan anything, just go for it on the night, the CFI of the club said that he found out more than was in the club archives ! I love public presentations especially as they create so much interest, hard work but rewarding.
