As usual, during the Houston Airline and Aviation Collectibles Show at The 1940 Air Terminal Museum at Hobby Airport.
We'll have a group table and other tables are available if you want more space.

This year, again as last year, I will be in Argentina and will miss this great gathering. Past meetings have been attended by a few MAC members and the camaraderie has been second to none. I'll miss you guys! Maybe next year I can make it.

Sorry to hear it, Christian! Good to hear from you and yes, it'll be the usual crowd!
Best wishes to you and your family!

Are we meeting again this year at the Airlines Collectibles Show in Houston? I missed it last year when I was in Argentina, but I'll be around this year.

There was no meeting this year. Hopefully next year we can return to the usual schedule to coincide with the November show of the Airline Collectibles Show in November 2020. There is no date yet for this event.

Hello friends:

Long time since I have logged in.

Just wanted to let you know that the John Beugels' Model Aircraft collection will be sold this coming Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Vectis Auction, UK.
John was a long time member of the MAC group and suddenly passed away last August, 2019. He and GR Webster wrote the Dinky Toys Aircraft book that we all know and cherish.
He had all types of toy aircraft, especially Dinky Toys. But also some interesting Meccano, Dux and Lehman, etc. construction airplane kits and assembled are also offered. Please let all members know about this amazing auction. And good luck if you bid! Here's a link to the Vectis website:

Best regards to all, Jose.(aka FlyingTiger10)

I followed the auction, hoping to buy a few items from John's Dinky and Dux collection. Sadly, I was unsuccessful with my bids... the really nice stuff still fetches a pretty penny!

It's nice to see that others will enjoy the fruits of Mr. Beugels' efforts.

RIP John.
