Dinky Junkers JU-90

Postby fliegerii » Wed Jan 21, 2015 10:55 pm

I once got a cheap postwar Dinky Junkers JU-90 on Ebay, which was painted silver with the fictional British registration applied.
Same wear, bit bent. I managed the correction of the deformed metal and kept it a while.
Now I decided to bring it back to German livery and chosed a Luftwaffe, fitting best into my collection.
I refused the traditional pre-war Dinky black, as this is unrealistic. The JU-90 was no Nightfighter...
I chosed the traditional RLM 70/71/65.

Here is the result.

I am not a genius in painting, but it maybe looks, as it would have been done by Dinky.... :D

Cheers!
Chris

Well done, this looks great.
So many postwar Dinky Ju 90 are found in bad condition. This is a excellent way to restore a model that cannot be brought back in original condition.
