French Dinky Toys aircraft is a new book that has been published in English in August and perhaps will be later this year in French.

It contains descriptions of all the French Dinky Toys aircraft made or known to have been planed with their variations and all the colours which were available.

As colours can not be described accurately, colour drawings of each colour for each model are included.

Seven years of research have been necessary to produce this book, to find all the pictures and assemble all the data. One set has never been seen before and many extremely rare items are shown.

120 pages size A4, hard cover, all in colour.

Orders are open for delivery mid August from : editionsduwag@yahoo.fr

Prices are :

€ 46.20 + 8.75 = 55.95 € for the European Communauty
£ 39.90 + 8.42 = 48.32 for U.K.
US $ 60.20 + 15.80 = 76.00 for the rest of the world

The last update of the fabulous Dinky Toys encyclopaedia on CDrom costs 60 € flat.
It is the only document which lists all the Dinky Toys : planes, ships, cars, trucks, doll house furniture, trains etc ... where ever they were made or finished : England, France, Spain, Hong Kong, South Africa, Chile, China etc... and also those which were not made : Concorde, Super Mystere, DH Vampire, Blackburn Firebrand, Handley page Herald etc...
In short, almost everything about Dinky Toys is in there and if it is not, tell me and I will add it.

If you buy both the book and CD, at no extra I will send you a video DVD with three French Meccano, Hornby and Dinky Toys advertissement films which were shown at the intervals at the cinemas.

Geoffrey Webster alias GR has kindly offered to receive the payments for me as I do not have a PayPal account.
                                       grwebster@aol.com

Kind regards.

Jacques.

Jacques and Claude,
Well, this looks already great and I know it will be a very nice book as I had a preview.
We, Dinky plane collectors, are very lucky to see a second book after the splendid issue of Geoffrey Websters Dinky Toys aircraft.
Both books are a must in your collecting library.

As the author is unable to use paypal to send the book to the USA, any MAC member in the US who would like a copy could contact me and I will arrange for Jacques to send you a signed copy of his book.

I am sorry but the book is not complete.

A sixth variation of the Caravelle has been found.

It is either the variation two or three (who can tell) with :
• 60F and 997
• MADE IN FRANCE
• No painting hole
• Black wheels.
