Zeppelin ashtray model photo

I came across this photograph of what appears to be a Zeppelin ashtray model.

I cannot determine if it is an original from the 1930s or one of those recent Indian "retro looking" products.

It is a new ashtray from Restorationhardware.com
Looks like a dream piece based on the old Williams Graf Zeppelin bank.
