Recent ebay buy, construction toy ala Metalcraft : Cramp Manufacturing Company, Fulton Blvd Chicago. Junior Aviators Construction Set, Curtiss Robin. Nice large 26 1/4" wingspan. Die cast radial engine in great shape. Missing horizontal stab struts, all original.

Anyone sitting on any info about this company or this kit?

There is a Curtiss Robin preserved in the G Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport at the southern tip of Keuka Lake, one of the Finger Lakes. When my parents took me to this museum in the early 70s I reached in and grabbed the controls. I was a bold kid sometimes. I remember in one of the Plane News issues devoted to Constructor Kit Aircraft, Sy Merrall contributed a photo of a biplane he had, an Army Hawk, by this manufacturer. I thought "What a painful-sounding name."
