Love it too. What is the wing span? Where can I get one too!

Wing span is 27 inches, the plane was made in the '30s by Doering bros. They are very hard to find.

Hi
i was able to find a Vacum kit and I'm now finished with the building of a 1:72 Coronado. It resulted into 4 pieces (fuselage-wing, tail and floats). It was difficult to build so that it is strong enough that it could be used as a master for sand casting. The next step will take another while again. keep you updated

I'm slow in restoring my models... but here after a year - another flying boat. Metal. Still missing the props and a nice stand

perhaps Allyn....I never saw the original allyn metal one, so i can't compare them. But it is missing the typical Allyn stand mounting. I bouyed an old revell Tradewind kit and will modify the props out of the kit - they are a little too big but it will work.
But here another flying boad. I buyed this one at a aviation show in germany. Its small size but looks like it was made by Dornier
