Name that bomber

Postby m94x » Wed Sep 05, 2012 1:26 am

OK, this should be a breeze for someone but I'm not an expert on bombers- I suspect this is a Douglas Havoc or Intruder. I don't think it is a B-26 from the wing form. Can someone tell me how to distinguish?

Yes, it's an A-20 Havoc or DB-7. The tail shape is a little off, but the rest is obvious.
That looks like ashtray material - does it have a mount for a stand?

Agree with MB on that- but there was an early variant with that tail supplied to the British after the French defeat. They had placed orders for this one and the order was then given to the British.

Thanks guys! The plane came on the wood stand shown but I have seen it on an ashtray before-it is a Pastushin model.
