WOW! These are beautiful, impressive model diecast airplanes.
I especially like the ERTL FORCE ONE, the LINTOY, the PLAYART,
et cetera. So often these are not mentioned.

Thanks very much for posting and sharing these beautiful aircraft pictures.

These MATCHBOX/DINKY AIRPLANES are incredible.
I like the colours and the attention to detail.
Thanks for posting the beautiful colour pictures.
I think, at the time, that several of these diecast aircraft were
not produced by anybody else in 72nd scale. Of course,
this all comes from memory. What comes to
mind is the RUSSIAN MIG 15 (Yes, I know the CCCP 1989 issue 72ND scale),
the MESSERSCHMITT 109G (MAISTO 72nd scale), and the
FOCKE WULF 190. Richard

Remember to have fun with the AIRCRAFT hobby.

"Used to have the complete set of HALLMARK LEGEND'S back in the day...but had to part with them when time's were tough!"

I hear you on that!

They were too big, yet not a consistent scale, and not metal - and expensive! I don't mind they are gone, but they are nice pieces. I picked up the Bleriot and Wright Flyer issues, and they are quite nice. Very few "early" planes out there (except for the Wright - have you ever tried to find a Wright "B" or a early Curtiss?? - impossible!) so I was happy to find them.
