Since it has markings for the 50th Anniversary of the BOB and 1990 engraved on the bottom, I'm assuming it was of recent manufacture.

What-no aluminum B-29? I'll trade you a B-29 for one of your B-17's!

Tom,

I noticed one of the planes in your collection appears to be an early model P-40 with no prop spinner and no canopy. Can you tell me anything about this particular model? It wasn't an actual Curtiss factory model, was it?

very nice, rare, well built models, and the same stand could indicate the same maker. Any idea who and where and when?
As they appear to all carry the Italian Air Force markings, that would be a hint.

All are FOM (Fomaer or Foma Aero)models from Italy the research I've been able to do indicates the company went out of business in the early "70s. I have a collection of approx 80 individual models.

The son of the founder is a member here on this forum. Search for the company name.
I like the focus of all alu models and especially with all of them from the same manufacturer.
Any way to show all 80 models together?
