Not only does the TriStar have the raised-relief letters "picked out" in blue, but they are also small caps as opposed to lower case, like mine has. I like yours better!
any makers mark on it?

Wasn't able to find anything except a number '7' on the underside of the Tristar. Not easily seen in photo are the embossed windows, doors and control surfaces on both models - the Super DC-8 also has cargo and wheel doors incised.
