AVRO CF-105 Arrow plastic pin

Here is another rare item from AVRO Canada; a plastic promotional giveaway of the Avro CF-105 "Arrow". These pins were produced in white plastic for the general Avro work force. A small amount of pins were produced with a silver finish and fewer still with a gold finish. The silver examples were given to the middle managers and the gold to upper management and to dignitaries in industry and government.

I was very fortunate to acquire the silver example shown below from the son of Mr Murray Willer. At the time Mr Willer was Avro's Manager of Sales and Service.

The pin is 2 1/2 inches in length with a 1 3/4 inch wing span.
